Reservations & Events Coordinator

Based within the Sales Department, we are responsible for Leisure, Corporate and Event reservations. Working five days a week (including alternate saturdays), you would be driving and delivering an excellent customer experience to our customers with character and charm, to a high standard, maximising sales and ensuring that all guests’ expectations are met and exceeded. 

Sous Chef

The desired Sous chef will need experience in a similar calibre restaurants, ideally as Sous Chef, and have a proven track record of meeting the highest standards with experience of managing their team, as at times you will be deputizing for the Head Chef. As Sous Chef you must to be passionate, committed, focused and able to work under pressure on all sections. This will include shift work and weekends.
Salary: Around £18,000-£26,000 per annum depending on experience.

Chef De Partie

We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated and is passionate about producing high quality food.  Someone who has experience in a similar role and is able to work well under pressure.  You must be able to support and work under the wing of the Head Chef and enthusiastic to learn. Be a team player with a bright personality with great attention to detail.
Salary dependent on experience.

Commis Chef

We are looking for someone who is flexible, motivated and is passionate about producing high quality food.  Someone who has experience in a similar role and is able to work well under pressure.  You must be willing to work under the wing of the Head Chef and Sous Chef and enthusiastic to learn.  Be a team player with a bright personality with great attention to detail.

Verbena Spa Therapist

The Verbena Spa is recruiting for NVQ level 3 qualified therapists.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in the health and beauty industry; with luxury spa experience a bonus.  The highest standard of presentation and social skills are expected and you should be able to work in a busy environment.  You should be able to multitask, moving from treatments, to handling laundry to taking orders from guests for food or drink although your main role will be to perform treatments.

In return the spa offers a luxurious, high paced environment in which to grow and develop your skills.  Uniform and meals on duty are provided as well as gratuities and commissions on products sold.

Head Waiter / Strong Chef de Rang

The Feversham Arms Hotel is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic individual who will work within our growing team. 
Your role will be to provide the highest level of service in the restaurant and lounges in order to meet and exceed our guest’s expectations.  You will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, possess good people skills and great attention to detail.  Having experience working within 2/3 rosette establishment is essential and strong wine knowledge is desired.  This is a very hands on role where you will have direct contact with all guests. Clear verbal communication is a must, ensuring you can interact with customers, and staff alike; as exceptional levels of service are expected at all times.
You will be assisting the Restaurant Manager on all levels of the restaurant and its delivery to the guests.  This will include shift work and weekends.
Salary:  £16,000-£18,000 per annum

Kitchen Porter

To assist the Head Chef and kitchen team as well as ensuring that the kitchen areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

- Safe and effective operation of the pot wash and dish wash machines.
- Total cleanliness of all equipment used within the department.
- Total awareness of hygiene and health and safety considerations in the kitchens areas.
- Overall cleanliness of personal work area.
- Total removal of all rubbish and waste food at appropriate times into appropriate areas.
- To maintain a professional, cordial and productive relationship with all other departments of the hotel.
- To be smartly presented in correct uniform at all times.
- To have a knowledge and understanding of company mission, vision and values and to work in accordance with these principles at all times.
- Any task reasonably requested by senior managers or owners.
