Events and Groups Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Event and Groups Coordinator to come and join our busy Reservations department. Reporting directly to our Reservations Manager you will be responsible for managing bookings and generating Group, Leisure and Corporate event business for the hotel. This role will require you to conduct show-rounds, follow up on enquiries as well as meeting your clients on a regular basis, including some occasional weekends or evenings.  

Person Specification  

Previous Event Management experience is essential.

Strong organisation, planning and administration skills are a must.

Excellent communication and customer service skills are vital along with a pro-active can do attitude.

Superb selling skills and the ability to turn initial enquiries into confirmed bookings.  

A comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations.

Computer literate in Microsoft Works and PMS.

Smart appearance at all times.

Ability to work shifts and weekends if required.

Own transport recommended

 Reservationist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reservationist to come and join our busy team. Reporting directly to our Reservations Manager this role involves managing the hotel’s leisure, small groups and spa bookings to ensure that targeted revenue and room occupancy rates are achieved. In addition you will play an important role in following up sales leads, updating the hotel’s website, issuing contracts, compiling departmental forecasting reports and attending marketing meetings. You will also be asked to assist with Conference and Event enquiries when cover is required.  

Person Specification  

• Previous reception/ reservations experience in a luxury hotel environment is essential.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and administration skills are a must.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are vital along with a pro-active can do attitude.
• Superb selling skills and the ability to turn initial enquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Ability to make sure all guest needs are met and any issues or complaints are dealt with in a professional manner.
• A comprehensive knowledge of Reservation systems. Computer literate in Microsoft Works and PMS.

Beauty Therapist (Verbena Spa)

  The newly opened Verbena Spa is looking for experienced Spa Therapists.

You will need to have experience in a quality operation(minimum 2 years), NVQ level 3 and a happy, easy going nature.

Chef de Rang (Restaurant)
