Christmas 2009 - Three Night Stay

Christmas Eve – Arrive from 4pm and simply unwind with tea, scones and cakes in one of our comfy lounges. Why not start the festive season by relaxing in the Verbena Spa heat experience or taking some time to have an indulgent Elemis treatment.

Early evening meet fellow guests in the lounges for pre dinner drinks. Dinner will be served from 7.30pm, whilst you are being entertained by our residents pianist Mel Nicholls.

Christmas Day – No rush to get up, hopefully Father Christmas will have paid a visit… Room service breakfast could be a tempting option. Make sure you work up an appetite for the delicious lunch ahead! Christmas day lunch is served from 1pm – 3pm.

In the evening why not curl up and enjoy a good movie from the selection of DVD’s in your room or take a stroll around the town which is always alive with festive cheer.

Boxing Day – Wrap up warm and join Catherine on her guided walk to Rievaulx Abbey where hot chocolate and mince pies await you. Explore the ruin and then wander back at your leisure.

Wetherby Races makes for an enjoyable day out. And if that all sounds too much enjoy some sheer indulgence in the Verbena Spa.

Make sure you are back in time for dinner and Rory Campbell, one of the founder members of the sensational singing Three Waiters act, will entertain you with songs from many of the West End shows he has appeared in.

Meet in the lounge for drinks at 7pm and sit down at 7.30pm

The Christmas three-night stay is priced per person in a shared room and includes accommodation, full Yorkshire breakfast, dinner on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, lunch on Christmas Day, entertainments as detailed above, early morning hot drinks, afternoon tea on arrival, newspapers and VAT.
