Our Food

If, like me, you love food and enjoy dining out, then allow me to introduce the Feversham Arms latest developments. Good food has always been at the heart of the Feversham - that's why we have been working extremely hard to spearhead a variety of improvements in our food experience.

We have been working away on lots of new ideas throughout this year, starting with the Dinner.  We wanted to satisfy (but would love to impress) even the foodiest of foodies, so our 5 course tasting menu is now standard for all guests dining at The Fev. Those of you who prefer a more 'freestyle' evening can choose from a three course a la carte menu... again no supplements - just the whole menu to delight in.

On the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors, we are ideally situated to make the most of what the surrounding land and sea has to offer. Blessed with a unique mix of rugged coastline, rolling moorland and plentiful farmland it's easy to source quality ingredients from good local suppliers.

We can't think of any other county with the landscape to lend itself to the creation of mouthwatering, flavoursome food. Fertile land to grow local produce, breed quality game and livestock, and the Yorkshire coast offering fresh fish in abundance.

So slow the pace down, let us take you through our food experience.

Simon Kelly - Head Chef

Food Style

The food at the Fev is - like other aspects of the hotel - a great antidote to the stresses of modern life. Dishes are classically-inspired, with touches of intelligent modernity, approachable and comforting. Local and international produce is simply prepared to ensure maximum flavour. The seasons dictate to us what will be featured on our menus and we are constantly working to source the best of what is available now.

In short you can expect a real gastronomic experience at the Fev without the overwrought styling that so often disappoints.
