Following on from the success of the spring and summer lunch events, we have put together a selction of seasonal lunches and events for autumn and winter. We look forward to welcoming you to our new series of events, with anti-ageing tips from Elemis, Farrow & Ball Colour Expert Kate Osborne, Carol Concerts to kick start the Festive Season and even floral workshops where you can make your own festive decorations to take home, we are planning some exciting and unusual lunches and afternoons for you to enjoy.

Elemis - Celebrating 20 Years
 
As the Elemis brand celebrates its 20th Anniversary this year, and the Verbena Spa celebrates its 2nd birthday on the 13th October, we are delighted to welcome Elemis Creative Director, Noella Gabriel for an insight into the world of Elemis, her passion for spa therapies and pioneering work into anti-aging treatments. For all the inside information on the latest anti-aging treatments, products and skin care regimes, this is one lunch date not to be missed. Renowned as one of the world innovators and developers of cutting edge spa-therapies and skincare products, Noella develops the Elemis products and therapies we all know and love.

Farrow & Ball – “More Colour in the Home” 

After the phenomenal success of the “Colour in the Home” lunch back in May, we are delighted to welcome back Farrow & Ball Colour Expert, Kate Osborne. Offering her inspirational advice and guidance in how to transform your home through the simple but striking use of colour, Kate will be delighted to offer more colour advice.
Learn how to approach decorating and develop your knowledge of colour families.

Deck the Halls…..
 
Just in time for advent, we invite you to join us for a glass of Champagne, afternoon tea and get into the festive mood as we make beautiful Christmas garlands to hang on your door at home, with the help of the charismatic florist Carl Banks. Carl owned and ran three successful florists around the North Yorkshire area and now passes on his wealth of knowledge through a range of floral workshops.
 
Tickets: £60.00 including a glass of Champagne, afternoon tea, demonstration, workshop and your own garland to take home.
Time: 2pm for Champagne, workshop to finish at approximately 4.30pm.

Festive Flowers & Fireplaces
 
To add a festive feel to your fireplace we welcome back Carl Banks, with a wealth of experience Carl will help you to create your own stunning fireplace decoration to take home.
Join us for a glass of Champagne, afternoon tea and then take part in our floral workshop to make your own decorative fireplace centrepiece.

Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir
 
The Yorkshire Philharmonic Choir is now established as one of the premier choirs in the North of England. Under the dynamic leadership of its Music Director, Dr. Andrew Padmore, the choir is renowned for the breadth of its repertoire, quality of the orchestras, musicians and soloists, many internationally acclaimed.
We are delighted to welcome back a select number to entertain you with carols and festive songs, traditional and modern. Please feel free to join in….

Life, Love and Laughter with Rohan McCullough
 
Award-winning distinguished actress Rohan McCullough along with Clive Conway and Christine Colshaw bring a sparkling evening to divert, entertain and amuse, with verse, readings and music to touch the heart. The programme will include witty and wise words from authors including Dorothy Parker, Oscar Wilde and music from Gershwin, Scott Joplin and many others.

York City Gospel Choir
