Chef de Partie

We're Hiring! 

We are looking for two Chef de Parties to join our team! 

Your main role is to work as a supportive member of the Feversham Arms Kitchen team whose aim is to serve guests, in all ways, to the highest possible standard at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities

To maintain the cleaning of all areas at all times.

To ensure that the correct quantities and quality of food has been prepared for your section and to check all relevant mise en place prior to service with the help of the commis chef reporting to you.

To prepare and serve to the service team any guests orders and to always ensure food is served promptly and within our F&B guidelines.

To ensure at all times that the guests receive the attention, standard and service they are entitled to.

To drive the efficient speed of service and spot check temperature and quality and ensure the smooth and efficient running of the section with the help of the commis chef reporting to you.

To ensure that the presentation & quality of the food dispensed is to the right standard according to specifications.

To ensure that your section is properly maintained and in good condition with the help of the commis chef reporting to you.

To adhere to the standard of safety, hygiene and cleanliness laid down by the law and company policies.

To work with and help the Head Chef maintain good and accurate stocks.

To wear and maintain the correct uniform and to comply with the Company dress code at all times whilst in guest areas.

To behave with other members of the staff in a polite, honest and friendly way.

To be punctual at all times.

To report to the Head Chef or relevant manager any complaints, incidents, accidents & other irregularities.

To attend department and staff meetings.

To attend any training sessions as reasonably necessary to conduct our service standards, legal requirements and for your own personal development.

To participate in the experimenting with and creation of new dishes. 

To motivate, support and project a positive attitude at all times.

To report any illness or sickness that may be contagious or hazardous to your colleagues or guests.

To participate actively in the training of commis chefs, ensuring that the company’s training procedure is followed.


After 6 months employment, you will receive a share of our service charge each month, as well as quarterly tips.
