Come Dine With Us

With this week marking both British Sandwich Week and National Vegetarian Week, it would be remiss of us not to focus on one of our favourite things – food!

We may have told you this before, but we’re incredibly proud of our roots here in the north and love to celebrate it, whether it be in the little touches you’ll find throughout the hotel, but most explicitly, in the food we offer.

Our menus are led by the seasons, with ingredients foraged from the North York Moors at the heart of many of our dishes. That being said, we’re not afraid to take a different direction!

We love a sandwich at any time of the year, but during British Sandwich Week, what better way to celebrate the fantastic produce on our doorstep at The Weathervane.

For us, it’s a toss-up between either our Yorkshire ham with smoked cheddar and grain mustard mayonnaise or, for something a little different, how about our locally reared beef ciabatta with red onion marmalade and horseradish?

These, alongside a host of other delicious combinations, are available to order from our Lounge Lunch Menu.

Alternatively, why not indulge in an Afternoon Tea and enjoy your sandwiches with a side of scones and cakes!

If you’re looking for something a little more substantial than a sandwich, both our A La Carte and Tasting Menu feature some fantastic vegetarian options, so if you’re feeling inspired by National Vegetarian Week but are a bit stuck for ideas – give us a try!
