Competition: Name our Restaurant
Head Chef Norman Mackenzie
Here at the Feversham Arms we want everyone to know what we have to offer our customers, from the relaxing Verbena Spa, to our 33 uniquely decorated rooms, to our 2 AA Rosette rated restaurant.
So we decided to hold a competition inviting our guests, old, new and even soon to be, to suggest names for our restaurant.
And the winner will not only get to see their suggestion above the door but will also win a meal for 2.
Currently called the Feversham Arms restaurant, our sky lit venue is well known for having a modern British menu drawing heavily on the local landscape and Yorkshire produce under the skilful management of Head Chef Norman Mackenzie.
It has won accolades for its food, including 2 AA Rosettes, and has one of the most talked about cheese trolleys in Yorkshire, as well as a cellar stocking a large rage of dinner wines and liqueurs.
Now we want it to have its own name, and that’s where you come in.
Our General Manager, Charles Merchie, said: “We are excited to hear what the people of Helmsley and Yorkshire would like to call our restaurant.
“It was decided to give the restaurant a separate name to the hotel so our customers know they are welcome to come along for dinner, you don’t have to be staying the night with us.
“And we wanted to ask people to choose the name rather than select one ourselves because we are keen everyone knows this is their restaurant to come and enjoy.”
The competition opened on our Feversham Arms Facebook and Twitter pages on Monday and will close on Friday, December 11th. The winner, whose entry will not only be the new name of the restaurant but will also get a meal for two, will be announced on Monday, December 21st.
