Helmsley Christmas Tree Festival 2015
The start of December sees the return of one of our favourite Helmsley traditions - the Christmas Tree Festival.
The annual festival is a great display of community spirit, with local businesses and organisations decorating a tree each.
These trees then go on display at All Saints Church from the 5th-21st December with the event raising money in aid of local charities. And this year everyone is hoping to top last years’ efforts, which raised more than £2,700.
This year the theme is Pantomime! Oh yes it is… and here at the Feversham Arms we’ve chosen the theme of ‘Mirror Mirror’ to decorate our tree.
Expect glittering lights and a touch of Feversham charm. Our decorations have even been lovingly handmade by Tracey, one of our Reservations Co-Ordinators. We can’t give much more away yet, so you’ll have to wait for the big reveal to see the final display.
The Festival is open everyday from 10am to 4pm, entry is free and there will be a collection for Ryedale Special Families and The Fire Fighters Charity. There will also be a Candy Cane Trail for the children on December 5th, a great way to start the countdown to Christmas.
The Helmsley Christmas Tree Festival runs from 5th-21st December 2015, at All Saints Church, Helmsley. For more information, please see: Visit Helmsley.
