Keep them in the dark this February Half Term

The Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors have teamed up for the second year running to create the incredible Dark Skies Festival, and this year the South Downs will also be taking part making the festival bigger and better than ever.

But what is the Dark Skies Festival we hear you cry?

Well, it’s all about discovering, learning and enjoying the dark and the stars. Throughout the week, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and the South Downs have a huge variety of events for you and your children to get involved in, from cycling, caving, stargazing parties, rocket making and learning about the star constellations. Whether your children have a keen interest in art, science or sports, the Dark Skies Festival has an activity guaranteed to get them excited and interested to learn more.

And if you want to make the half term that extra bit special, why not bring the family to stay with us at the Feversham Arms? You can head out to the festival and explore all that Yorkshire has to offer before returning to our cosy snugs with roaring fires and delicious hot chocolates.

Check out our Hot Dates deal for February where, for a few selected dates throughout half term, we’re offering you the chance to stay in one of our Deluxe Suites for only £195 (worth up to £320). Our Deluxe Suites include a separate living room area, luxurious bathroom and king-sized bed allowing you to spread out and really relax with the family over the February break. If that wasn’t enough we’re also offering 20% off any food consumed in the restaurant on the night of your stay.

So, what are you waiting for? Treat the kids (and yourself) this February half term and enjoy a bit of culture at the Dark Skies Festival followed by luxury relaxation with us in a Deluxe Suite.
