Remember, remember the fifth of November
It’s the time of year again when we grab some gloves and sling on our scarves and head out to enjoy the annual bonfire and firework displays.
Each year the offering gets bigger and better, with giant roaring fires burning long into the night and beautifully bespoke fireworks carving their way across the night sky.
This year, as always, we here at the Feversham Arms are looking forward to making our way down to the Helmsley Bonfire & Firework Display.
On Saturday, November 7th, at the Recreation Ground townsfolk from Helmsley and visitors will gather to celebrate Guy Fawkes night.
The gates to the evening event will open at 6pm, at 6.30pm the bonfire will be lit and at 7pm there will be a spectacular firework display.
During the night there will be a bar as well as snacks, cakes, burgers, hot dogs and soup and free car parking.
Entry is £5, with under 5s going free, and there will be a raffle offering one lucky winner the chance to set off the firework display.
Now with the nights drawing in it’s sure to be a bit nippy so after the event what better way to finish the evening than with a little nibble or tipple on the way home in our lounge area?
With our own open fire and soft chairs we will have you sitting back, sinking in and not wanting to leave.
