We are looking for Receptionists to join our team!
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Be competent in the use of the reservations system, check in/check out procedures, taking reservations for both hotel and spa, email and other operating systems.
Deliver the correct procedure in front office operations, computer procedures, handling of cash and credit facilities and guest information services thus providing and efficient and professional service at all times during your shift.
Assist the Reception Managers and Head Receptionist with the planning organising and control of the day to day operation of the hotel thereby ensuring the Company Standards of Performance are maintained and total customer satisfaction is achieved.
Maintain a high level of customer care with the emphasis on the social skill.
Promote and report all guest feedback as appropriate.
Ensure you are fully conversant with all reception equipment.
Attend meetings as required.
Ensure effective communication between reception and any other department within the business.
Support the Reception Manager and Head Receptionist in the effective control of stationary and associated goods to prevent unnecessary waste.
Prepare guest bills ensuring that there are no errors on the account and forward to them for payment.
Answering phone calls within 3 rings at all times, taking reservations and answering queries via phone call, as well as in house guest calls.
Required to cover reservations and spa reception shifts where necessary.
After 6 months employment, you will receive a share of our service charge each month, as well as quarterly tips.
Full time positions available.
This role will include evenings and weekends.
